Bruce Sage is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY (A.A.S.,B.F.A)
and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and the Command Sergeant
Majors course.
Bruce Sage has over fifteen (15) years experience as a State Licensed Building
Contractor, Construction Manager and Project Development Specialist.
He
has over twelve (12) years as a State Licensed Professional Building,
Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Inspector. He is also a
Certified Professional Environmental Inspector.
Mr.
Sage is a consultant to the Building Officials of the State of Florida, The
Department of Corrections, Department of Juvenile Justice, Florida Turnpike
Authority and the Florida Department of Management Services. He has provided
building code compliance inspection services to the
above for twelve (12) years under exclusive contracts in seven counties.
In
addition he has served the City of Coral Springs Code Enforcement Board in a
judicial capacity for over eleven (11) years and has been publicly recognized
for his services.
He
maintains professional affiliations with the National Fire Protection
Association (N.F.P.A.),
International Code Council,
Inc., (ICC), The
International Association of Electrical Inspectors (I.A.E.I), Professional
Laboratories, the Center For Disease Control (C.D.C.), the Environmental
Protection Agency (E.P.A.) and the Infrared Training Center (I.T.C.)
He
served as the last Command Sergeant Major of the 5th Health Services Brigade, 108th
Army Training Division, U.S. Army Reserve. His responsibilities include but were not limited to the management of the U.S. Army Medical Center and School, region
"C", with medical education professionals and campuses throughout AL, GA, FL,
MS, NC, SC and Puerto Rico. He supervised over 350 U.S. Army Reserve
professionals. He has since retired from active federal Service.
He is also the Deputy Commander Group XI for cadet programs and support, of the Civil Air
Patrol, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.
